MG Resins’ Money Pile –

By / Uncategorized / Comments Off on MG Resins’ Money Pile –

Today MSB installed the last DeWaal pile at MG Resins’ new plastics plant in Corpus Christi, TX. The “money pile” was the 8,424th DeWaal pile installed on the job. MSB used 3 drill rigs to install the 16″ DeWaal piles, which had lengths up to 50-feet.  Average production rates were 35/day per rig with many days over 40.  All of the DeWaal pile cages were fabricated using Schnell automated cage welding machines and A706 rebar at our rebar fabrication facility in Harpersville, AL. Since the start of this project MSB have opened additional rebar fab shops in Lake Charles, LA and Angleton, TX.

Morris-Shea appreciates the business from MG Resins and wish them the best of luck on the safe and successful completion and commissioning of their facility.

We are thankful and very appreciative for all of our wonderful crews for their hard work and dedication to safety and quality. Great job guys!
